INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Giving all children the wings to go to school, to learn in the same platform and develop skills essential for life is the primary objective of inclusive education. Vidyalayas in Silchar region have embraced inclusivity in classrooms by providing facilities and developing infrastructure such as ramps, washrooms, etc where CWSN students can avail proper education in a conducive environment. Special educators are employed to facilitate learning of such students. Community mobilisation to create awareness regarding disabilities and how to deal with them, psychometric test for identifications of such students, counselling sessions for parents and students, capacity building for teachers are all aspects of inclusive education.
