KVS Vision and Mission
To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education; To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education; To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc.
KVS RO SILCHAR
The Regional Office of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is located in Silchar, Silchar, South Assam. The Regional Office manages 29 Central Schools located in Silchar Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram. Out of these, 08 projects are in Kendriya Vidyalayas of Kendriya Vidyalaya, 15 Civil Sector and 06 Defense Sector.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, ONGC, Srikona Conducts a Lecture to Promote Cyber Safety by Veteran Advisor Mr. Subimal Bhattacharjee With the widespread use of technology, cyber security has become a pressing concern for individuals and institutions alike. Keeping with the need of the day, Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Srikona took a step forward by hosting an interactive session on Cyber Awareness for the students of Classes 6 to 12 on 2nd February 2024. The lecture was expounded by Cyber Security expert Mr.Subimal Bhattacharjee, a policy advisor on cyber and technology issue. The session highlighted the major issues relevant to social hygiene and emphasized the importance of implementing strong passwords to personal accounts. He also provided information on how to report cyber crimes online at Government portals and helplines. The lecture ended with a lively interaction by the students and teachers whose queries were duly addressed by the expert. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks extended by the Vidyalaya Principal Shri. Sandeep Kumar Sharma. This workshop was indeed timely initiative by the Vidyalaya to equip its students with necessary skills and knowledge to stay safe in the digital world.
