PMSHRI Scheme has opened so many ports for nurturing rational and critical thinking, building scientific temperament, cultivating curiosity and developing employability skills. Various innovative practices are carried out in the Vidyalaya of Silchar region. Framing a drip irrigation system, creating compost pits, agricultural practices, etc are all aimed at generating green hands for future. Novel practices also include exploring indigenous villages, learning local craft such as cane craft, weaving in a traditional loom, bamboo craft, pottery, sculpture etc. These have been some of the best practices that have provided vocational training to students. Math and science circles are also innovative deliberation of classroom transaction.Toy based pedagogy and introduction of FLN has changed the narration of teaching learning process.
